osdm demos under windows 8.1

Is osdm totally abandoned?

Please, pretty please can a dev fix it so it works under 8.1? Right now any intros i build with it (even the examples included) run very slowly (about 10 times slower than normal) and jerkily. I tried to disable lots of Metro eye candy but no dice. The music plays fine, though.

i think you are right. OSDM seems to be death. Since Years nothing, no News, no Backup was released.

Try asking BOBO. Send him a PM. He have the whole Source Code and he was the man who wanna forward OSDM into the next Level. But it is Ages ago.

Which Version you have installed. Maybe i can help with another Version. I got many and the last non official OSDM Release by BOBO.

Many thanks for responding! Good to know that some people are still watching these forums I'll try contacting BOBO - wasn't aware he was the "new" developer.

I have tried both versions V2.23.401 and V2.23.402 with the same results. If there's a more recent build that you can point me to, I'll be happy to try it!

Version: V2.23.402 was the last Version and the first, done by BOBO. after this release no newer came out.

i attached for you all Version by OSDM that i archived. i hope one of them will run on Windows 8.1.

Also try the NoRES.exe. sometimes this exe is working well. Don't know why

Thanks so much for all this! I will play around with those versions and report back in the next few days. I will also try to find another Win 8 PC to test on, just in case it's an issue with my specific PC only.
